Hey Beauties and thanks for checking out my website. I am honoured you are visiting my page. My name is Rachel! 

I started exploring makeup in grade 7 which led to my dark eyeliner & bright white, sparkly, Lise Watier glitter days in high school. The more I got into make up the more my creative side surfaced and decided to make it my career by applying for the Global Makeup program at Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver. I learned everything from Prosthetics, Airbrushing, Hair Styling, Wedding Makeup, Special Effects, Tv and Film as well Hygiene & Sanitation. 

After realizing Vancouver was not for me, I moved back to my hometown, Nanaimo, where I worked as a Cosmetician and Beauty Advisor for 3 years. I was itching to learn more, so I took the plunge and became a full time freelance makeup artist while also taking several Esthetics courses in 2020. In February 2020 Enhance Beauty was born and I finally reached my goal of becoming a business owner!! My studio is located in South Nanaimo and am also able to work on location as needed.
